Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara with pick up from either your hotel/Airport

Our Company representative will be waiting for you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to welcome you to Kenya, and will arrive at the airport at least 1 hour to your designated arrival time. So, rest assured there will be a friend waiting for you.

After the pick-up, then you will proceed to Maasai Mara.

Along the way, you will enjoy grand vistas of one of the world’s most impressive geological formations – the Great Rift Valley.

You’ll arrive at your hotel in time for lunch and check in and be introduced to the facilities. Then late afternoon will be an exciting time to start your first game drive, as animals usually begin to become active as the evening approaches.

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner

DAY 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Comprehensive Game Drive

Your second day on the Mara would be perfect for a whole day safari out on the grasslands. Be ready for many hours of excitement! You’ll depart your lodge after an early breakfast and head down to the vast savannah grassland in search for big five and other plain animals. Your guide will make sure to bring a packed lunch from your hotel if you have to wait through lunchtime.

Your guide will take you in search of Africa’s most charismatic megafauna. You’ll see elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and countless ungulates like gazelles, zebras and antelopes. Lions are more difficult to spot, but there are plenty of them in the Maasai Mara and it’s not uncommon to catch sight of them relaxing in the grass.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in good time for lunch at your hotel. It is the perfect place to experience one of the world’s largest ornithological spectacles, The Pink Flamingo, or a rich concentration of wildlife including black and white colobus monkey and is also a famed Rhino Sanctuary.

Later Afternoon you will have game drive in the park and around the lake. Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley.

The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
